Intellectual Discourse on Islam and Human in the 4th Industrial Revolution 2018
Intellectual Discourse on Islam and Human in the Fourth Industrial Revolution was held on 24th of April 2018 at the Main Hall, Institute of Islamic Understanding Malaysia (IKIM). The program was organized by IKIM in collaboration with PertubuhanLegasiTun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi (LEGASI) and gets supported by Kyoto Alumni Association Malaysia (MYKYOTO). The talk was chaired by Prof DatukDrAzizanBaharuddin, Head of Director at the Institute of Islamic Understanding Malaysia and a panel from the Director of Institute of Islam Hadhari, National University of Malaysia, Prof. Dato’ Dr. MohdYusof Othman.
The talk discussed the challenges of the fourth industrial revolution to the Muslim and Islamic world. The challenges encompass several aspects of the way HUMANOID could harm and affect the characteristics of humanity (insaniah), and the preparation that Muslim could do to endure these challenges.
